Dr. Rita Princi-Hubbard is currently engaged in multiple intersecting projects that continue her commitment to integrating affective neuroscience, social neuroscience, psychology, and education to enhance wellbeing and learning outcomes across diverse professional domains.

• Ongoing Research in Compassion Pedagogy in Higher Education
  Building on her doctoral work, Dr. Princi-Hubbard is furthering her research into the application of compassion-focused approaches in tertiary settings. This work explores how self-regulation, emotional safety, and co-regulation between educators and students can improve learning environments and academic outcomes in universities and training institutions.

• Authoring the Professional Training Manual: Teaching with Insight
  Dr. Princi-Hubbard is finalising a comprehensive professional training manual based on her eight-module neuroscience-informed and compassion-focused teacher training program. Teaching with Insight is designed for pre-service teachers, experienced educators, school psychologists, youth workers, social workers, and allied health professionals. The manual includes theoretical foundations, detailed learning modules, reflective activities, and practical strategies to embed trauma-informed and developmentally sensitive practices into education and beyond.

• Implementation of Training Modules in Schools in Australia and Internationally
  The Teaching with Insight program is actively being implemented in schools both across Australia and abroad. The modules are tailored to the unique needs of each educational context, with follow-up coaching and professional development to support sustainable integration into school practices and cultures.

• Development and Delivery of Tailor-Made Workshops and Seminars
  Dr. Princi-Hubbard regularly designs and presents custom workshops and seminars for diverse audiences, including:

  • Educational leaders and teaching staff

  • University academic and professional staff

  • Mental health professionals and allied health teams

  • Business executives, HR teams, and corporate leaders

Rita also provides individual consulting and coaching to leadership, educators, psychologists and school counsellors; including in the medical, allied health and corporate domains. Rita also provides supervision to Registered Psychologists for Clinical Endorsement.
